Could black holes be cosmic memory vaults?

Main Idea
Black holes may not only destroy or hide information. A wild hypothesis is that they could act like cosmic memory vaults, storing information about matter, stars, planets, and energy that crossed their event horizons. Instead of information being lost forever, it may be encoded in ways we do not yet understand.
Reasoning / Evidence
Modern physics already debates whether information is truly lost inside black holes. The black hole information paradox suggests that information may be preserved in some form, possibly through quantum effects or radiation. If information can survive in extreme gravitational systems, then black holes might function as the universe’s deepest storage structures. This is highly speculative, but it creates an interesting discussion about memory, reality, and cosmic information.
